If you go this route you must not accept racists nor religious fanatics in your ranks and recruit some military vets who can provide proper field, weapons, and recon training. EMTs, cooks, and survivalists also come in handy as well as mechanics, electricians, and former scoutmasters, and gunsmiths. If you do not want to be responsible contact the closet militia to you and ask for help.
